This evening I was checking the backlinks to the blog (it’s a great way to find other good blogs and such) and came across a link from a forum in Québec. A little Google Translate and wala… I noticed one thing up front – Mosby’s NousDefions and this blog were linked in an entry about survivalism news (not a bad thing) but the author made the statement:
“Most recent articles illustrate the MG “means offensive” was being discussed recently (except that he is aware he will openly displayed – very subversive of course – to take the bull by the horns if one day his country falls under the rule of a fascist junta, the attack on their land instead of waiting / defend his home. Well, with the Yanks must always be wary because they are quick to distribute labels “fascist” or “communist” .. etc.”
The rest is for the Quebecois in the audience:
First lets define “Fascist”. As per the Webster short definition fascist means very harsh control or authority. Given that now read these links:
There are tons more. Literally thousands upon thousands and they grow day by day. In a nation where the police are militarizing at an alarming rate it’s pretty apparent we are living in a thinly veiled fascist state. To deny such is to ignore the very state of the world we live in today.
Now for the Marxist part. Let’s define Communism (which by the way I rarely use – I tend to call progressives Marxists which is exactly what they are). Once again as per Webster: a doctrine based on revolutionary Marxian socialism. What is socialism? Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods and services. Hmmm….
Get the picture? Probably not. But you need to understand a few things. #1: This is not what the United States was intended to be. #2: When a people fear their government that ignores the law they live in a fascist state. When the government fears people and respects the law they live in a free republic. #3: The US in not Canada. Try implementing the reforms they had in Canada to fix the economy and the unions will burn the country down (much like your students are already doing over that paltry tuition increase).
